Thai Airways has rerouted six European flights to avoid Ukraine airspace indefinitely after a Malaysia Airline plane was shot down by a missile in eastern Ukraine last night.
After the busy flight corridor was ordered closed by international aviation officials last night, Thai Airways board announced their London, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Rome and Paris flights will take alternate routes, Thairath reported.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed no Thai citizens were aboard flight MH17, which crashed in territory controlled by pro-Russian separatists battling government forces.
