In case you missed it late last year, and if further proof was needed that man is not meant to fly, this video of a failed BASE jump from Baiyoke Tower is getting a lot of attention today after it was reshared online.
BASE jumper Espen Fadnes was attempting what was meant to be a straightforward 300-meter jump from the Baiyoke Tower to a narrow street when he veered off course.
Fadnes slammed into a billboard and went crashing to the street below. Luckily he only suffered a cut to his left foot.
The daredevil admits that the crash landing was ‘more embarrassing than it was painful’.
It looked pretty damn painful to us.
