AirAsia will add a direct route from Kuala Lumpur to Pattaya city next month to shorten travel times for travelers who usually have to cut through Bangkok
Four weekly flights will launch July 16, making AirAsia will be the only airline connecting Pattaya to Kuala Lumpur directly. The flight will leave from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to U-Tapao Airport in Rayong province, an one hour ride away from the beating heart of Pattaya.
The flight takes about three hours.
Thailand has always been one of the top choices for Malaysians to visit with AirAsia saying its flown more than two million guests between the two countries, according Spencer Lee, head of AirAsia’s commercial division in Kuala Lumpur.
