Two women arrested for stealing phones from 12 pretties

At 9pm yesterday, Thong Lor police executed arrest warrants against two women who had allegedly stolen mobile phones from 12 models. 

Duing a search on a house on Pattanakarn 32 Road in the Suan Luang district, police busted 28-year-old Fah Junjaras and 32-year-old Jantima Kamraman. The cops discovered 13 mobile phones in the pair’s possession, which were worth a total of THB200,000.

According to police, Fah had earlier hired a group of models to promote a cocktail drink at a pub and restaurant on Soi Sukhumvit 33. During the event, Fah asked all the models to deposit their phones with her, claiming that the restaurant did not allow them to carry the devices while working. Fah then absconded with the phones and brought them to Jantima, who later sold them to pawnshops.

Dailynews wrote that Fah and Jantima were being held at Thong Lor police station for interrogation.
