Thailand to have 4G coverage by the end of the year

True Move has announced that it plans to offer 4G telecommunications services in Thailand by the end of the year.

The Nation reports that True Move has plans to construct 2,000, 4G base stations, which will allow it to create a network four to five times faster than the 3G network currently available.

Initially, the 4G network will only cover central areas of Bangkok, such as Silom and Siam Square, before expanding to offer coverage to “essential” provinces.
