Extravagant monk Luang Pu Nen Kham Chattiko will likely face charges for having sex with an underage girl, the Department of Special investigation (DSI) reported this last Saturday. These charges will join with the myriad other offences to be filed against the monk.
Tarit Pengdit, DSI chief, reported that the DSI has made progress in its investigation against the monk’s alleged misconduct. The monk, also known as Phra Wirapol Sukphol, allegedly had sexual relations with as many as eight women during his monkhood, one being 14 years old at the time of the affair.
Tarit stated that this was a serious criminal offence. The woman, who is now an adult, shall be put under the witness protection program, the Bangkok Post reported.
