White masks protest at CentralWorld

A small number of white masked V For Thailand protesters rallied in downtown Bangkok on Sunday.

The group gathered outside the CentralWorld shopping complex before walking to the Royal Thai Police Office and tying black ribbons to its front gate. The band then marched to the city’s Arts and Culture Centre to read a statement reaffirming their opposition to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s government.

According to the Bangkok Post the rally was unplanned. V For Thailand had earlier announced on Facebook that it would defer any gatherings in Bangkok until July 14 and then meet at the statue of King Rama 6 in front of Lumpini Park.
