A 34-year-old IT specialist was arrested yesterday for shooting upskirt videos with his mobile phone in Lat Phrao MRT station.
Chaos ensued last night near the MRT’s exit when a 41-year-old victim screamed for help after noticing that she was being filmed. The voyeur, Sorapop Walaisathien, ran away but was eventually captured at the station’s gate with help of motorcycle taxi drivers.
Sorapop admitted to committing the lewd act a few times on the MRT’s elevator, saying that he kept the films for personal use. Sorapop might face a one-month prison sentence and/or a THB1,000 fine, Dailynews reported.
