Judge who threw eggs at police chief to be transferred

A Bangkok judge who tossed a box of fried eggs and rice at the vehicle of the Metropolitan Police chief Kamronwit Toopkrachang is being transferred to administrative duties while a committee probes into her actions.

Courts of Justice spokesman Sittisak Wanachakit said judge Chidchanok Paensuwan, who works for the Appeal Court, would be investigated for throwing a styrofoam food box at Kamronwit’s car on Friday.

The female judge will face three charges – raiding a government office, insulting officers and causing damage to state property. She will be asked to acknowledge the charges on Wednesday.

The Dusit police said police records showed Chidchanok was involved in several matters before Bang Khen police, most notably parking her car so it obstructed other vehicles.

In that previous incident Bang Khen traffic police towed Chidchanok’s car with her still sitting in it, the Bangkok Post reported.

Stay tuned! This has potential people!
