Fire at Charoen Krung Robinson’s

A fire started at a Robinson’s Department store on Charoen Krung Road in Bang Rak earlier today.

Initial reports said that the blaze started on the first floor, and that shoppers and people in a nearby hotel (perhaps the Shangri-La?) were evacuated while firemen went to work extinguishing the blaze.

Coconuts Facebook fan El Tom shared the above photo of firetrucks on the scene.

No word is out yet whether the fire has been extinguished.
