The CEO of Ichitan green tea was injured in a car crash on Saturday when his van ran off the road and flipped on its side.
Tan Passakornnatee, 54, was on his way to award promotional prizes in Phitsanulok when an 18-wheel-truck cut into his lane. Tan said he decided to run off the road to avoid a crash, but flipped his van in the process.
Tan, who is known to Thais as a generous billionaire who often gives back to the society, had a severe headache and a neck pain.
He was immediately sent to Rachthani Hospital, the Daily News reported
