Tony Jaa’s manager threatens lawsuit against Fast and Furious 7

Tony Jaa’s manager, Somsak Techarattanaprasert, said he may sue the producers of the upcoming action film Fast and Furious 7 because his client is still under an exclusive contract that requires his prior consent to any projects.

Jaa’s attorney recently issued a termination letter to Somsak.

According Somsak, the action star did not tell him about any foreign film commitments. Somsak also said that the actor just renewed a 10-year contract with his company.

Asked if he has talked to the actor, Somsak answered that he had hard time trying to contact the star. “I guess he is now too famous to talk to us,” the tycoon quipped.

Somsak is responsible for casting Jaa in his breakout performances in Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong,  Khaosod reported.
