Thai Airways logo coverup gets Taiwanese animation treatment

Taiwanese viral news spoof producers Next Media Animation have put out a parody video on the Thai Airways flight that skidded off the runway at Suvarnabhumi on Sunday due to a landing gear failure.   

Specifically, they’ve turned their satiric eye to the fact that Thai Airways quickly covered up the plane’s logo as a crisis PR move. 

Whether or not it’s standard procedure to cover up the logo of a plane that’s had an accident, we feel pretty safe in saying that this PR move backfired.
