Those who find lakorn soap operas a guilty pleasure probably can’t keep track of the new, pretty faces introduced each day.

And why should we, when producers keep casting young women who all look the same? Is the identity of Thai women limited to the same small number of redundant features? How narrow has the definition of beauty shrunk to in Thai media?
