Teams of ladyboys from throughout Thailand clashed in a watery, Pattaya arena to raise a cool million for charity.
Organizers announced Friday that THB1 million had been raised by the second Ladyboy Water Volleyball tournament which was held Oct. 26.
Eight teams comprised of ladyboys from bars in Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket splashed and spiked to the finish in matching bikinis. The golden-hearted and apparently well-endowed athletes’ performances netted about THB250,000 for each of these four charities:
- Pattaya Rotary Club’s Water4Life program
- Pattaya’s HEARTT 2000
- Bangkok’s St. Camillus Foundation
- Phuket’s The Life Home Project
Home players won the day, with the lovely ladies of Sensations Bar Pattaya coming out on top, Pattaya Mail reported.
