Thai advertisers touched a global nerve earlier this year.
While it may have lost out to dancing babies and crazy stunts and hot babes, True Move’s “Giving” commercial has been the 12th-most shared commercial online so far this year, according to Unruly Media, which tracks social media marketing.
The emotionally poignant commercial was shared 1.26 million times online, according to the firm. Not a bad showing for Thai advertisers, as most of the top-20 entrants represented major international brands with major international budgets.
The three-minute spot from TrueMoveH grabbed attention two months back with its heart-wrenching tale of mercy and compassion.
