Video: Amazing aerial view of anti-government protest at Democracy Monument

A huge crowd of demonstrators thronged Democracy Monument demanding an end of the Shinawatra government yesterday.

ASTV Manager launched a drone to capture the crowds, which protest leaders estimated at more than one million. Sparked by the controversial amnesty bill, the anti-government movement has continued for weeks and picked up steam yesterday with official calls for an ouster of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

Today protesters are marching throughout the city to pressure the government. Led by protest leader and former Democrat MP Suthep Thaungsuban, supporters are rallying at 13 state offices, the headquarters of the four armed forces, and five television stations.
