At first glance, this sign appears to be another lulz-worthy example of Thaigrish gone wrong, but in fact seems a peculiar display of honesty.
New signs deployed at Suvarnabhumi Airport’s public taxi queue explain the fare structure, provide useful telephone numbers and provide customers a solemn promise: “Service staff are not polite.”
This would seem an unfortunate translation, but according to a photograph posted on Twitter by user BKKGreg, it’s quite accurate. What does it say above in Thai? “Service is not polite.”
Way to manage our expectations, Airports of Thailand!
New sign in front of the taxi queue at Suvarnabhumi. Think the central message needs a bit of fleshing out. http://t.co/Ov9hi2r9Mf

UPDATE: Apparently one sign indeed does promise a smiley airport experience:
@CoconutsBangkok At the Airport of Smiles itself? Spotted this when I got into Suvarnabhumi on Saturday: pic.twitter.com/WRd2Q8FoeL
