Love triangle: Distraught Finnish man jumps to his death in Bang Phlat

A 44-year-old Finnish man jumped to his death from his condo in Bang Phlat district last night after a fight with his Thai lover.

Mika Juha Ahlholm was found dead in the condo’s rooftop garden on the fifth floor after leaping from the room he shared with his Finnish husband and their Thai male lover, 41-year-old Predee Boonmongkol.

When authorities found Ahlholm’s body, Predee lay unconscious beside him, having lost a lot of blood from a wrist wound.

Up on on the 28th floor, inside the condo, authorities found 49-year-old Sko Kalervo, Ahlholm’s husband. The room was stained with blood and signs of violence.

As the only conscious survivor of the love triangle, Kalervo explained what happened.

Kalervo explained that he married lived with Mika Ahlholm in Finland before moving to Thailand for his yacht bartending career. The couple met Predee, fell in love with him and invited the Thai man to live with them. Later the dead found out he had cancer, so Predee had to take care of him while Sko worked.

Last night, Predee came back from a birthday party intoxicated. Ahlholm was upset by his behavior, and the men got into a fight. Predee got violent and punched the glass balcony door until it shattered. The men continued to argue until, at some point, Ahlholm decided to jump off the balcony.

After his lover’s body hit the ground of the rooftop garden, a distraught Predee took the elevator to find his body.

The Bang Phlat authorities are not convinced by Sko Kalervo’s assertion. They will wait until Predee is able to give his version of events and the autopsy from the doctor, Sanook reported.
