If you decide to take a nap in traffic, consider keeping one of those one-minute egg timers in your car.
Last night a Lampang man was found sound asleep inside his car in the middle of a traffic intersection. Before taking his cat nap, he had activated his turn signal, like a good driver.
So the police eventually came. They tapped on the window. They yelled at the guy. They even rocked his car back and forth to wake him. Yet wake he would not.
So in the end, they just busted in his window. Apparently that woke him up.
Police said the man appeared intoxicated and could not drive. Actually, they said he couldn’t even talk.
We’ve all had those nights.
The patient police moved his car to a side road and were at last report waiting for him to become aware of them to begin their questioning, Morning News reported.
