Obviously Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk, being one of the hottest Thai actors with the most fangirls, is convinced someone will pay THB6,000 for the VIP treatment at his next fan club meeting, “Meta Presents James Ji Monkey King Fan Meeting.”
To clear up any confusion, James’ fangirls refer to him as “Monkey King” and call themselves “Bananas.”
Bananas, indeed.
“Fan meetings” are basically private concerts with small audiences willing to pay premium prices for a chance to get closer to their object of adoration, and maybe a photo together.
Questioned by the press about the sky-high ticket price, James said he’s been working on his singing and dancing skills in Korea and has some surprises for his fans to experience during the two expensive hours.
He added the event is a way for him to show the appreciation to his fans, at least the ones willing to show their appreciation for him in the form of cash.
The ticket price for James’ first fan meeting ranges from THB1,500 to THB6,000 and will be available from Saturday on Thai Ticket Major, True Life reported.
