Everywhere you go these days, it seems someone has their hand out. Just last week, police in Phuket arrested a “disabled” foreigner for soliciting donations. (His deafness was never conclusively disproven.)
Now here comes the latest mongrel with a sad story to look for a hand-out. In a video recently posted to YouTube, a very pregnant-looking individual drags her legs behind her as if they didn’t work before “miraculously” standing up. The nerve of the beast.
Probably because people love animals doing weird things, they’ve been able to forgive this dog’s deceit and clicked “Like” far more than “Dislike” for the video, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times.
Of course she might have some sort of neurological condition, or as many self-proclaimed dog experts said online, she just had an itch to scratch.
But dogs of Thailand be warned: We’ll be a little skeptical the next time your big eyes tempt us to toss over a piece of chicken.
As for the video’s source? Unknown. But from the surroundings and the trash bin that is labeled with the Thai words for “trash bin,” we’ll go out on a limb and say it was certainly filmed … somewhere in Thailand.
