Inspired by anime and made possible by a people not shy about expressing their inner selves through fashion – even if it involves wearing a stuffed animal on their heads – the Japanese are trendsetters in the fashion industry, especially here in Southeast Asia.
Now we can take in the inspiring Harajuku fashion here in the heart of Bangkok at Japan Fashion Week, hosted by the Siam Center shopping mall.
The event is for locals to indulge themselves with the unique fashion by Japanese designers. The highlight of the event is the display of Christian Dada’s embellished costume as worn by Lady Gaga on-stage.
