Ewwwwwwness: Someone’s ice-cream sundae included a free cockroach

Before digging into that creamy vanilla soft-serve ice-cream, you might check to make sure no unexpected ingredients are fortifying its sweet, chocolate flavor.

Like cockroaches.

Facebook user “Witchy Amy” posted a photo to on Mcdonald’s Thailand’s page of her cockroachalicious ice-cream which she claimed to have purchased at Major Cineplex Pinklao on Saturday.

The roach must have left this world for chocolate paradise, as she said it was found inside the fudge.

“I was eating my ice-cream and found a cockroach in it. So I told the manager of the store and she offered me a new cup,” Amy wrote. “How could they even think of that? The cockroach could have fallen into the container of chocolate.”

The customer ended up leaving her number at the store, and later a McDonald’s representative called to offer her a THB1,000 voucher.

Instead of taking the hush money, the woman decided go public and share it with us all while calling for the fast food chain to guarantee its food safety for customers.

“It’s all about consumer’s rights,” Amy declared. “I only ask for what we’re supposed to receive from McDonald’s, so I came out to share my experience.”

Well Amy … thanks for that.
