Two police students fell to their deaths as their families looked on during skydiving training this morning after their parachutes did not open.
After the slings to open their parachutes were torn off, police cadets Chayakorn Putthachaiyong and Natthawut Tirasuwansuk could not pull their reserve parachutes in time and died instantly in front of their families, who were present to witness their training.
The training was held at the Airborne Division of the Border Patrol Police in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. An investigation is under way, Khaosod reported.
