Street vendors paint the town white for Songkran sales

Selling powder and water guns for Songkran can generate big baht, so the street vendors have again started staking their business territory on Silom Road this afternoon – with white spray paint.

With Songkran starting Saturday, Daily News shared photos of the busy street all painted up with vendors’ nicknames and the word “reserved.”
