For nearly three decades the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front has sought to overthrow Myanmar’s military junta.
Than Khe and Kyaw Lin, two of its leaders, will discuss 26 years of resistance Thursday evening at a panel discussion and book launch event at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Thailand.
Organized by the group and Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, the panel discussion will run from 6 to 8pm tomorrow. Topics will include the activists’ personal experiences, armed revolution and hopes for a democratic future.
