BTS Acapella farang mystery solved, group to sing at St. Regis tomorrow

Remember the men in the tuxes who tried to lighten the BTS mood in yesterday’s video?

Turns out the “white boy glee club” is actually called “Gosskören,” and their final performance in Thailand is tomorrow night at The St. Regis Bangkok.

To clear up any confusion, they said the Skytrain performance was spontaneous and not part of any lame marketing campaign. They were just having some fun on their way to a gig.

Silliness seems important to these Swedes.

“Gosskören is not only a male choir but everything the audience wants it to be,” they write of themselves. “A group of firemen ready for action, a gang of beaten down sailors who haven’t seen civilisation since the 20th century, or just a group of charming guys who sing beautifully and look sooooo…. fine!”

Entertaining stuff, guys.

It wasn’t there first time singing on the BTS – and pretty much everywhere else in Bangkok – as this 2012 video shows:
