Frightening: It’s about to get even hotter in Bangkok

Oh Jesus.

It’s about to get hotter in Bangkok, people, so prepare yourselves.

You think it’s been hot lately? Well it has. The average temperature in Bangkok has been 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) all month, according the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Narit).

But you ain’t seen nothin’ yet: On Sunday April 27 at 12:16pm the sun will get the closest to Bangkok that it’s going to be all year, the institute said.

The sun will hover directly above Bangkok on Sunday, in theory making it the hottest day of the year.

We’re packing our bags and leaving.

In all seriousness though, rain and clouds could lower temperatures on that day. So let’s hope that happens.
