So apparently Jamie Foxx can beatbox “Ice Ice Baby” and might retire in Chiang Mai.
After a soap star’s interview with the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 totally bombed last week, Thai TV host Woody undid some of that damage Sunday with his own interview of the Hollywood stars, which is actually watchable.
The two television personalities were dispatched to Singapore for a press junket promoting the film in Asia, and whereas “Bomb” Tanin lived up to his name with great moments like “Get Farang to Say Something in Thai,” Woody showed some charm and wit.
Of course it’s still silly stuff, but hearing Foxx beatbox to Woody’s rendition of Vanilla Ice and Foxx’s genuine enthusiasm for Chiang Mai – and interest in retiring there – is much more entertaining. It doesn’t hurt that Woody’s totally comfortable and confident in English.
