Viet TV celeb transforms into Peemark, sings Thai song

It was just last year when the 47th movie adaptation of the Thai folk tale Peemark Phra Khanong generated a billion baht to shatter all box office records.

It became such a regional hit that it was the basis of a recent episode of Vietnamese gameshow “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”

On the show, local celebrity Hoài Lâm took on the identity of Peemark and even sang Kor Mue Ter Noi (Let me have your hand), as was sung by lead actor Mario Maurer and the cast in the film.

Despite having little time to learn the Thai lyrics, Hoài Lâm delivered quite an entertaining performance, and we’re always excited to hear non-Thais singing Thai karaoke.

We just can’t help it.
