Sriracha Zoo’s experiment with crocodiles, ducks ends how you would expect

Once upon a time, precious little ducks were put into a crocodile pond at Sriracha Zoo as an attempt to prove to the modern world that predators such as crocodiles can be trained and controlled.

Unfortunately, the crocodiles ended up doing what crocodiles do and one of the ducks was brutally killed. The experiment failed.

Pantip user JK Rowlingstone shared the photos he took of the dead duck at the zoo on Saturday. In the photos, the sign above the crocodile’s pond says, “Duck and Crocodile – the relationship between a herbivore and an omnivore, which can live together as friends at Sriracha Zoo.”

Many netizens submitted the photos to the zoo’s facebook page, requesting it rescues the other ducks in the pond who we can only imagine live in absolute fear.

The zoo responded, stating they decided to separate the animals and cancel the experiment.

However, another unnatural experiment − pig in a tiger’s cage − is still available for visitors to watch.
