Thailand’s first test-tube kittens successfully made

This is another example of putting science and technology to good use: making more kitties!

Chulalongkorn University released a photo of Thailand’s first test-tube kittens successfully made by their researchers.

The first artificial kitties are called, “Nak-Ung and Bao-Wiw,” which is translated to “Heavy and Light,” according to Prof. Dr. Mongkol Techakumph, Vice President Research and Innovation Office of the University.

Yes, after weeks spent in the lab, those are the names researchers chose for their creations.

Dr. Mongkol says the purpose of the research is to help conserve the four remaining endangered Siamese cat breeds as thirteen are already extinct, MThai reported.
