Faa Mai, a fascinating creature at a Chiang Mai elephant sanctuary, is lucky to snooze to the sweet singing of caretaker Sangduen “Lek” Chailert.
Lek is the co-founder of Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary in Chiang Mai for rescued elephants. Unlike other dubious animal “welfare” organizations, the park is the real deal, rescuing and rehabilitating mistreated elephants.
The heart-melting video of Lek bonding with Faa Mai was released by the Save the Elephants Organization and has reached almost a million views in one week.
