Images capture woman’s quest to juxtapose life, death, nipples (among other body parts)

Ever thought of painting your nipple, having a close-up photograph taken of it, then displaying it in an exhibition?

Too late – Elizabeth Preger has been there, done that.

A Los Angeles native, Preger uses her body as a stage to explore themes of death and mortality. Her photographs have been published in the Los Angeles Times and shown at numerous exhibitions.

Witness her breastaking work yourself next month at her exhibition “Here are my teeth: Black with stars” at Kathmandu Photo Gallery. The opening reception starts at 6:30pm on July 5.

If the sight of a woman’s unfettered breast would ruin your day, cease your scrolling at once and seek counseling.
