Tuk-tuk driver returns Norwegian man’s forgotten passport and money

A tuk tuk and moto-taxi driver of Songkhla’s Hat Yai district returned a forgotten passport and THB6,000 cash to a Norwegian man yesterday afternoon.

Kosol Klaiklai, 48, says when he discovered his passenger left his possessions in the tuk tuk, he did everything to return it to the owner because he felt sorry for him and want to show some Thai-style kindness.

Terje Olav Ufer, the 44-year-old Norwegian, was so impressed by Kosol’s gesture that he got all blubbery over it. In tears, Ufer said he never thought he would get his items back, Khaosod reported.
