Well that’s one way to skin a cat.
A pet hospital in Pattaya has filed a police report after a woman violently threw her cat into the hospital’s reception area on Sunday and casually walked off.
The kitty was uninjured in the incident.
Pantip user Maekam shared security camera footage from the hospital after the pet appeared dumped off in a cruel manner.
“‘Moral conscience’ is a simple value that not everyone has,” the user wrote. “If you decided to have a pet, at least be responsible with its life. You can’t just throw them away like trash.”
It would be one thing if the woman just couldn’t care for the animal and abandoned it, Maekam added:
“If you just left the cat here, I wouldn’t feel so bad, but you literally threw it. Cats do not have wings.”
How could someone treat their pet like that? Some Pantip commenters assume the cat may have been a gift from an ex-boyfriend.
An answer to that question may be forthcoming ‒ the cat thrower arrived in her car, and its license plate was captured on CCTV, Maekam reported.
The sweet-looking, female kitty has received a proper health checkup. She is extremely healthy, and thankfully, someone has offered to adopt her.
