Famous singer and actor Rattapoom “Film” Tokongsup claims he was arrested in South Korea while filming an “ice bucket challenge” on Saturday, long after it stopped being remotely interesting.
Following the fad, which seemed to explode into popularity before imploding scant hours later, Film claimed on Instagram locals called the police to complain a mentally ill man was shouting incomprehensible words abusively while pouring water on their private road.
For the good cause, the singer said he was fined THB5,000.
Film posted several 15-second clips of the event on his Instagram from the moment he prepared the bucket to the part he explained to a “cop” he’s from Thailand and not Taiwan.
Luckily, a YouTube user compiled the clips into one video for your entertainment.
Looks bogus, but media are dutifully reporting the story as it stands.
