Artificial Beauty: Two Thai girls remold their faces on Korean show

Out of 2,000 applicants, Nichakorn Kuhachit and Nisanat Tangdat were selected by “Let Me In,” a popular Korean TV show which completely transforms its guests’ appearances.

Isn’t that exciting?

In a very special episode called “Special Global in Thailand,” the Korean producers flew to Bangkok in May to select two lucky Thai girls among thousands to fly to Korea for a surgery makeover.

After making their recoveries, their old and new faces were revealed to the public for the first time in the episode which aired Thursday.

The first guest, Nichakorn Kuhachit, was criticized by the show’s doctors for having a crooked collarbone, and misaligned teeth which caused her chin to stick out.

Nichakorn confided on the show how her friends called her “Monkey” for having a long chin.

At the end, Nicha got an injection of fat into her forehead, a jawbone adjustment, a nose job, breast implants and even ear surgery.

The doctors also removed a tumor found in her chest during the check-up.

The second guest, Nisanat Tangdad, had an underbite. Her lower dental arch overlapped top one by five millimeters, making her face appear longer than “normal people.” Her face, it was argued, appeared too skinny, and she had the nose tip of a man, according to the show.

Nisanat was given a fat injection into her forehead, a “V-shape” facial structure, a jawbone adjustment, eye surgery and nose job.

For those interested in watching the full episode and seeing inside the operation room, here are the videos (Korean).
