Natthaphol Phinit, 26, said the home was owned by his boss, and the four residents all pitched in to take care of the household, according to the Bangkok Post.

The boy was reportedly staying at the home, where his friend and suspected murderer, also 14, lived with his mother.

Police said Nattahphol’s story seemed valid, and the boy will be charged with the murder in juvenile court.
