Rampaging tiger feasts on Chiang Mai buffalos

Fear and panic are spreading among northern villagers after their third buffalo was killed and eaten by a wild tiger in the dead of night.

The villagers of Baan Huai Saan in Chiang Mai province are pretty sure it’s a tiger after they found a massive 16-centimeter paw print, according to the village headman. They estimate he runs three-meters long, whiskers-to-tail.

A team of hunters from the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation will be sent to catch the tiger in Sri Lanna National Park while villagers are advised to stay away from the forest and stay in their homes at night, INN News reported.
