Two bands and five more DJs have been announced for December’s Wonderfruit Festival in Chonburi province.
Nineties pop-hop act De La Soul and Swedish electro group Little Dragon along with DJs Gaslamp Killer, Francesca Lombardo, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones and Andrew Ashong join the roster for the three-day festival organized by Scratch and Secret Productions.
It’s the first time the festival has been staged in Thailand, and organizers have taken a something-for-everyone approach with acts ranging from techno and house to reggae, punk, folk, blues and more.
The event is being promoted heavily in the international festival scene but seems little-known in Thailand.
Some local artists will perform on a stage for Thai acts including indie darlings Yellow Fang, experimental provocateurs Stylish Nonsense and DJ Maft Sai.
Tickets are already on sale for THB6,000.
