Fury
Starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf, this war action/drama returns to World War II to tell of a tank commander and his five-man crew, outnumbered and outgunned, trying to strike at the heart of the Nazi Wehrmacht. Critically praised at the London Film Festival along with many war movies, “Fury” seems a more serious turn for Pitt to kill Nazis.
Gone Girl
David Fincher’s 10th film takes on Gillian Flynn’s global bestseller of the same name. On their fifth anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports his beautiful wife Amy (Rosamun Pike) has gone missing. Depicted as an innocent at first, Nick falls under more and more suspicion as the story develops. It’s not long before everybody starts asking the same question: Did Nick kill his wife?
John Wick
Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, a reluctant ex-hitman drawn back into the game by the gangsters that took everything away every from him. It’s a badass role this time, and we genuinely hope it doesn’t disappoint like that one film he did. You know, that one which has been everything he’s done since 1999.
OT Phee Overtime
Handsome dudes Chakrit Yamnam, Ray MacDonald and Ananda Everingham promise equal parts shudders and laughs. Three office colleagues, Tee, Karan, and Bodin are preparing for a friend’s wedding, which will be held at the most haunted hotel in Southeast Asia. Even if it turns out bad, it’s still worth it to seeing this much beefcake together in one film, whether it proves a quality horror-comedy or just horrific comedy.
