Keep those umbrellas at the ready

It is officially winter, but the warm and wet have not gone away.

At least until Monday, scattered rains will continue in 40 to 60 percent of the metropolitan area, forecasts say, due to the arrival of a low pressure front from the east.

The temperature remains around 31C to 33C during the day and about 24C to 26C at night, just like last week.

But don’t return those pet sweaters just yet. Bangkok temperatures will fall next week along with those in the central and northern regions of the country, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
