Suitcase thrower apologizes to AirAsia with flowers (VIDEO)

The man who wouldn’t take no for an answer only to be ejected by an AirAsia cabin crew is feeling uber guilty about it.

Days after ranting that he was singled out for a rule commonly broken, the man whose tantrum over his too-heavy bag delayed a flight 30 minutes used his online platform to apologize for his behavior.

“I, Super Uncle, would like to apologize to Air Asia for displaying my inappropriate manners,” he said in a video posted Wednesday. “I caused passengers and cabin crew that day to waste time. I don’t know how to apologize except with these flowers that I arranged myself.”

The man has remained anonymous but by referring to himself as “Super Uncle,” a nod to the Thai stereotype of mannerless people who show zero consideration with their behavior.

There doesn’t seem to be a response from AirAsia.

The apology came after his indignation did not sit well with the internet. After his bag was randomly weighed and deemed excessive on Sunday, he angrily threw it out the cabin door instead of being cool and just paying a small fee to let them check it.

No, he had to cause a scene on the Bangkok-bound flight on and got himself kicked off the plane, but not until he stood there arguing for another 15 minutes while the passengers chanted “Get off! Get off!”

A cautionary tale for those who feel they’ve been slighted by customer service: Don’t expect your Facebook rant to win support. Super Uncle tried this and was basically stomped to the ground by the social network.

Today his cover photo just reads “I’m sorry.”

Super Uncle also posted a status indicating he will not argue anymore and will spend the rest of his life working to be accepted by society again.

Internet is powerful.
