A young man was stabbed to death at a concert in northern Bangkok on Thursday.
Swawut Jit-o-larn, 19, was killed and his friends injured when another group of teens attacked them with shanks at a Paradox concert in Pathum Thani.
During the performance by the eclectic ’90s rockers, Swawut and his friends got into an argument with another group of more than 12 strangers, but thought they’d made peace, according to one of the boys involved.
Tawan Lek-kla, 18, told police he was cut in the leg just after midnight when a second argument erupted into a fight, and the other boys started hacking at them with knives.
Srawut died from wounds to his chest and back, according to the Bangkok Post.
Tawan said guards didn’t search attendees for weapons.
