DIY bloody death for Halloween

Need a last-minute Halloween look? This easy makeup tutorial will help you achieve that bloody splatter factor and encourage you to pack some condoms for the big night.

Whether shrouded in a sheet for the ghost look, wrapped in bandages for a proper mummy or busting out the old prom dress to be a corpse bride, a lot of blood will add that important wow-factor.

A little makeup and easily available materials are all that’s needed.

“Behind her death is a sad story, as a victim of teenage pregnancy, she tried to induce her own abortion by taking illegally-obtained drugs and various methods at home before ending up in a tragic death… and not realizing that she’s already dead,” Nui wrote.

According to the photos, “various methods” seem to include a wire hanger, long a symbol for why women everywhere should have access to safe, legal abortion.

Tutorial: Abortion ghost

1. Use the white from Wet N Wild’s Cover All Concealer Palette or any highlighting cream and apply it all over your face to make your skin as ghostly pale as possible.

2. Apply white powder (or white eyeshadow) on your face all the way to your neck to coat that concealer.

3. Look dead: Use various eyeshadows such as red, green, blue, black, brown and apply them randomly all over your face to create some bruises, decomposition and cracks.

4. Wear white contact lens for the perfect cursed glare-stare. Try the top floor of Platinum Fashion Mall on Petchburi Road.

5. Make your own fake blood: Here Nui boils rose syrup and cough syrup together. Add scraps of red lipsticks to create those little gobs-of-gore texture effect. As an alternative, we’d suggest corn syrup (to thicken) cornstarch (to darken) mixed with some choco syrup. Hit Google for other ideas plucked from your kitchen.
