Need more change: Don Muang Tollway fares to increase

Motorists will have to pay more to use the Uttaraphimuk (Don Muang) tollway in northern Bangkok when its operator raises prices starting Dec. 22.

Heading out of town Din Daeng-Don Muang will rise to THB70 from 60 for standard cars and trucks, and THB100 from 90 for larger vehicles.

From Don Muang north to Rangsit’s National Memorial Monument, commuters will pay THB30 and THB40 for standard and larger vehicles respectively.

Coming into town from the monument to Din Daeng, tolls will jump up to THB100 baht for four-wheel vehicles and bigger vehicles will need to pay THB140 to use the tollway.
The new fares will be effective until Dec. 21, 2019, according to the Bangkok Post.
