EXP: Sights and sounds deconstructed at ‘Drift’

An experimental offshoot of the post-rock music scene which has taken root in recent years will express itself in full, convention-shattering abstraction next month.

Chiang Mai artist Arnont Nongyao and artists from Canada, Malaysia, Poland and Australia will manipulate their own solo, group and improvised soundscapes at Drift. Curated by Koichi Shimizu and Pichaya Aime Suphavanij, the show will lead audiences to explore its sound installations during that two-day event located on the first and third floors.

The improvisational session will feature Crys Cole, Goh Lee Kwang and Robert Piotrowicz with The Photo Sticker Machine, Joe Fongnaam and Sutthipat Sutthivanich from 7:30pm to 9pm on  Nov. 7.

Four free workshops are offered in the afternoon of Nov. 8. Email exh_activity@bacc.or.th to reserve space.
