Test your might: Bus driver mortal kombat on Sutthisan Road (VIDEO)

Every day they drive past each other. Two men, related by blood and driving the same bus route (No. 74) in opposite directions. Did greetings and grins slide into grimaces and glares over the years?

We can only imagine the accumulation of grievances that led these two men, driving the same route for competing companies, to slam their buses into each other on Sutthisan Road, leap from their doors and throw the gauntlet down in a midday street brawl.

In a video capturing part of the confrontation yesterday, even their conductors get in on the action.

The video starts after the air-conditioned orange bus hit the non-aircon blue bus with the drivers in a dogpile as their female conductors push shove each other in the background.

Sweet.

Police separated the men from each other, and Mr. Orange went on to smash his blue nemesis’s window with a steel ticket keeper for dramatic effect. Then he was shamefully handcuffed to a nearby shop’s metal shutters.

“Why did you smash their window?” Mr. Police says. “Your cars crashed, and so what? You look up the laws and see who’s right or wrong. Why would you do this? Call your insurance.”

Meanwhile a menacing, kissed-by-fire Valkyrie waves her coin keeper everywhere, spewing change into the road, which a helpful citizen can be seen pocketing at 1:10.

The two drivers and conductors were taken to Bang Sue police station where they agreed to drop any charges against each other.

Police said the drivers are relatives.

Finally, all four were made to swear to Lord Brahma at a police station shrine they will not fight again. That settles that.
